SUMMER OF HATE: Seattle Mayor Will CLOSE CHAZ After Fatal Shooting

(FreedomJournal.org)- Democratic Mayor of Seattle Jenny Durkan was forced into an embarrassing back track this week when she announced that she will attempt to shut down the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone after a fatal shooting took place over the Father’s Day weekend.

According to media reporters, several people were shot, leaving one person dead and two injured. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning and hit national headlines when video footage emerged of the “autonomous zone” in total chaos.

It is vastly different to the image portrayed of CHAZ, which was one of being a “summer of love.”

The person who was fatally shot in the CHAZ was reportedly a 19-year-old and a wounded victim is currently in critical condition. Reports suggest that Mile Solan, the local Police Union President, said that he was fearful for the lives of his officers just for responding to the shootings in the protest zone.

“The community is at grave risk and the men and the women that provide that public safety service, they’re at grave risk as well,” he said.

On Sunday night, a second shooting left a 17-year-old wounded, having taken a bullet to the arm.

Footage from one of the CHAZ warlords, an ANTIFA rapper called Raz Simone, filmed himself chastising and shouting at medics who arrived at the scene but wouldn’t enter the zone. Medics were not able to safely enter the zone because of the ongoing violence and the hostility from the violent protesters towards officials.

Mayor Jenny Durkan will now do what she should have done all along, or will at least attempt to. Reacting to the tragic shootings, Mayor Durkan said that CHAZ has become less safe as time has gone by, and that it is a very different place at night. Something everyone knew already.

“The cumulative impacts of the gatherings and protests and the nighttime atmosphere and violence has led to increasingly difficult circumstances for our businesses and residents,” she finally admitted. “The impacts have increased and the safety has decreased.”

Durkan says she will put forward plans to deal with the problem on Monday. Let’s see if they are more than just lip service.
