(FreedomJournal.Org)- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stooped to a new low on Wednesday when she pushed a baseless conspiracy theory on national television. During an interview with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, Speaker Pelosi wondered out loud about what Russian President Vladimir Putin may “have on President Trump.”
Pelosi’s comments come after the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence released a new report suggesting that the U.S. intelligence community was correct in its initial assessment that Russia meddled in the 2016 election, and that Russian hackers and meddlers favored Donald Trump.
All is not what it seems, however. Former National Security Chief of Staff, and former CIA agent Fred Fleitz, said earlier this week that the report doesn’t rely on sufficient intelligence sources and that the claim Vladimir Putin’s meddlers supported Trump is without Merit.
“The Senate Intelligence Committee report falsely claims that ‘all analytical lines are supported with all-source intelligence’ and that analysts who wrote the intelligence community assessment consistently said they ‘were under no politically motivated pressure to reach specific conclusions,’” Fleitz wrote in a Fox News op-ed.
Fleitz even asserted that the House Intelligence Committee discovered during their investigations that many of those involved with meddling in the 2016 election actually supported Hillary Clinton.
That didn’t stop Nancy Pelosi peddling a conspiracy theory on national television about the president of the United States in the run-up to a presidential election.
“Well, I’m not surprised. As a member of the Gang of Eight, I watched this whole investigation proceed and the rest,” Pelosi said to Scarborough. “It leads you to the question: what does Vladimir Putin have on President Trump personally, politically, financially, in any way, that he would choose Putin’s words, what Putin said over the intelligence community?”
This isn’t the first time that Pelosi has peddled conspiracy theories. She said this exact same thing back in January.
What does Putin have on @realDonaldTrump, politically, personally or financially?

When one of the most prominent faces of the Democratic Party is comfortable peddling conspiracy theories about the president, is the argument really on their side?
And, while she peddles conspiracy theories, she slammed any suggestion that Ukraine also participated in election interference was an attempt to “divert any culpability away from the Russians.”
I wonder if that has anything to do with Joe Biden’s son having business interests in Ukraine…
