New York Times Columnist: Stop Blaming China, LEARN From Them

(FreedomJournal.Org)- Max Fisher, a columnist for the New York Times, took to social media on Monday to tell Americans to stop blaming the Chinese Communist government for the coronavirus outbreak. Instead, Fisher suggested people start listening to them and learn a lesson from them about how to deal with the virus.

Fisher completely overlooked the fact that the Chinese government covered the virus up for many weeks and allowed it to spread to the rest of the world.

In a tweet, Fisher says that the U.S. government isn’t working closely enough with the Chinese government and is choosing to scapegoat the country instead.

“US outbreaks may be too far along for the South Korea model to work,” he said, in reference to South Korea’s strict social distancing and wearing of masks and gloves in everyday life.

“The only thing left is the China model. It’s the only known success as subduing a full-blown epidemic. Instead of working with Beijing on finding lessons, the US is scapegoating China to deflect political blame,” he added.

Really? Deflect political blame?

China covered up the coronavirus for so long that some experts believe, had they acted sooner, the spread of the virus could have been reduced by as much as 95%!

Fisher doubled down on his claims, however, referencing China’s support from the World Health Organization to prove that their numbers are real. The communist government claims that deaths are rapidly decreasing, but China has never been trustworthy and is not trustworthy now.

Not to mention, a recent video showed a World Health Organization signing out of a video call with a journalist as soon as the topic of Taiwan came up. The WHO works for China!

When the Chinese government covered up the virus and then attempted to blame the outbreak on American soldiers, is there any good reason to “learn” from China?
