(FreedomJournal)- Lincoln Project co-founder and so-called “conservative” Steve Schmidt received a softball interview from MSNBC on Friday morning, despite shocking allegations of sexual misconduct and harassment from his fellow co-founder, John Weaver.
It showed once again the collaboration between these so-called conservatives and left-wing media.
Joe Scarborough, host of “Morning Joe” and vocal anti-Trump commentator, talked to Schmidt about the Capitol Hill unrest on January 6. The discussion focused on the right-wing protesters at the event that turned violent but did not reference Antifa activists who also stormed the Capitol Building or the CNN reporter who was caught on camera doing the same.
The accusations of sexual harassment, backed up with evidence and screenshots of conversations, against John Weaver were also completely ignored.
The Daily Caller News Foundation picked up on this, and asked MSNBC for comment…but did not receive any such comment.

Accusations against Weaver were first revealed by conservative commentator Ryan Girdusky, who said on January 9 that he had received information from several young men who had been at the receiving end of Weaver’s sexual harassment.
Girdusky said that the young men had been sent sexual messages and “predatory” attempts at grooming, using his position of power within the Lincoln Power to lure in young victims.
Maybe I should start talking about one of the founding members of the Lincoln Project offering jobs to young men in exchange for sex… his wife is probably interested https://t.co/vAtUS9aPPl

In a series of tweets, Girdusky has already released some examples of the sexual messages that Weaver sent to young men, which prompted an apology from the anti-Trump activist.
“To the men I made uncomfortable through my messages that I viewed as consensual mutual conversations at the time: I am truly sorry,” he said.
“They were inappropriate and it was because of my failings that this discomfort was brought on you,” he added, before admitting that he is gay.
“The truth is that I’m gay,” he said. “And that I have a wife and two kids who I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place.”
Weaver has also been quietly removed from the Lincoln Project website.

Hey, Weaver. Being gay doesn’t justify sexually harassing anybody.
