(FreedomJournal.org)- Senator Kamala Harris isn’t used to media scrutiny, so when CBS “60 Minutes” host Norah O’Donnell reminded her that she is the “most liberal” member of the United States Senate, all she could do was laugh and stumble on her words.
By “most liberal,” by the way, O’Donnell isn’t talking about the classical sense of the word. Harris has a voting record that makes Senator Bernie Sanders look right wing in comparison, cementing her as easily the most radically progressive and potentially even socialist member of the United States Senate.
“You’re very different in the policies that you’ve supported in the past,” O’Donnell said to Harris. “You’re considered the most liberal United States Senator.”
Harris attempted to shift the conversation to the Republicans arguing that it was a right-wing talking point.
“I…somebody said that and it actually was Mike Pence on the debate stage,” she said, awkwardly laughing.
O’Donnell didn’t back down and informed Harris that it’s not a right-wing talking point, but something verified by the non-partisan organization GovTrack.
“Yeah, well, actually, the non-partisan GovTrack has rated you as the most liberal senator. You supported the Green New Deal, you supported Medicare for all, you’ve supported legalizing marijuana,” she said. “Joe Biden doesn’t support those things.
Good point. He doesn’t. But it hasn’t stopped him incorporating many of those ideas into his 2020 platform, including calling the Green New Deal an important “framework” on his campaign website.
And, when O’Donnell asked Harris if she was bringing a socialist or progressive perspective to the campaign, Harris once again laughed and denied it.
If elected, would Kamala Harris advocate for Medicare for All, a plan Joe Biden doesn’t support?

Just like Joe Biden says “come on, man” when he’s trying to avoid a difficult question, Harris seems to simply…laugh.
“No, no!” she said. “It is the perspective of a woman who grew up a black child in America, who was also a prosecutor, who also has a mother who arrived here at the age of 19 from India. Who also, you know, likes hip hop. Like, what do you want to know?”
Kamala then continued to awkwardly laugh.
Do you believe her?
