(FreedomJournal.com) – Socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might have pledged to support Joe Biden if he becomes the nominee, but it looks like she and the Bernie Sanders camp aren’t going down without a fight.
After the Sunday night CNN debate, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tore into former Vice President Joe Biden suggesting he isn’t being truthful about his record.
“Don’t say you support a fracking ban when you don’t,” AOC wrote. Fracking is a big concern to AOC and others like her. You may remember the “Green New Deal” she proposed that would have crippled the United States economy, banned air travel, and reverted society to the Stone Age.
“Don’t say you didn’t write the bankruptcy bill when you were one of its biggest champions,” AOC added. “Don’t say you supported ending Hyde a long time ago when you were just pressured into it last year,” she continued.
In what is arguably the most millennial thing ever said by a congresswoman, AOC said, “This is basic.”
Don’t say you support a fracking ban when you don’t. Don’t say you didn’t write the bankruptcy bill when you were one of it’s biggest champions. Don’t say you supported ending Hyde a long time ago when you were just pressured into it last year.
This is basic. The truth matters.

Looks like Biden might be in for an uphill battle once he officially becomes the Democratic nominee. AOC might prefer her to President Donald Trump, but with his tendency for lying, Bernie Sanders supporters will have plenty more opportunities to call out the former vice president for being loose with the truth.
AOC’s comments referenced that fact that Biden didn’t even take a position on fracking back when he spoke about it in June 2019, and that he did in fact support bailing out the corporations during the 2001 financial crash.
The CNN debate was marred by more gaffes for Biden. Beyond being untruthful about his record, he attempted to call our Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders for being supported by nine Super PACs. When he offered to list them, Sanders accepted, and Biden couldn’t follow through.
This primary race is an even bigger mess than last time.
